Last Thursday night, Rundle Place gave the low down on this season’s biggest trends. If you’re not too keen on the big season shop, book a consultation with the Rundle Place Style Lounge and have one of their stylists help you out!
Amongst many of the old favourites now comes suede. I say ‘now comes’, but for all of you 70s lovers I suppose it never left? Suede is featured in fawn tones in trench coats and classic boot cut pants. But my favourite is the suede A-line skirts, mixed with denim, or even white (especially white lace-up tops).
Khaki! You just do not go out of fashion, do you? This season, strive for camp-inspired designs in khaki and tan; trenches, dresses, poncho coats and cropped tops. My personal favourite is a khaki jumpsuit!
Red Hot Red
I do enjoy when a season’s colour palette encompasses one of the more bolder colours. Although I don’t wear much red myself, I do always love a bold lip! When including red in your wardrobe, think the bolder and more striking, the better.
White on white, you deliver again! The warmer months always warrant lighter colours and what better than white? This season opt for layering; vests, mesh, flowing pants and finish with simple jewellery. Keep it modern and fresh.
