It’s 2018, my best year yet.
So you’re still trying to work out where 2017 went, right? Yeah, this was me too until today. But the grace period is officially over, it’s now the 8th of January and time to get a start on organising your 2018. So, here are my tips and tricks, from a list-obsessed-over-organised-individual to you.
Get A Diary
This should have been last year’s chore, but I understand not everyone is as excited about getting a new diary as I am. My top choices are any from: An Organised Life, Blacklist, or MiGoals. Make writing in your diary a daily task, use it to plan your days out and stay on top of your commitments.
This diary from An Organised Life has a section at the front of it for you to fill in your 2018 goals and new year resolutions. It also has a how-to guide on writing achievable and measurable goals. But if you need some extra help check out their blog, here.
Organise Your Desk
A tidy working space is the best way to start your year productively. It’s also a good idea to buy some new homewares for your desk (a new lamp, a vision board) and stationery (to-do lists, notebooks, pens) to get you motivated and excited to get back into things.
What do you do to get organised for a new year?
