Is it just me or has Christmas come around way too quickly this year? I seriously feel like it was May just last week but yet here we are. Today I jet off to Vietnam and return Christmas day, so I had to get in early with gifts this year! As always, I found buying for the women in my life so much easier than the men, and as I purchased all the beautiful gifts for my friends, I started to compile this list.
Every year I put together my go-to Christmas gift guide for the minimalist in your life – from beauty products (let’s be honest, there’s a lot of them) to jewellery, to fashion, I’ve got you covered. This year, I injected a bit more colour, with my favourite tones at the moment being browns, nudes, pinks and reds.
From Kris Kringle gifts, to stocking fillers, to those little add-on presents for when you haven’t got quite enough. When it comes to presents under $50 my first thought is: beauty products – they’re an easy win because, really, who doesn’t like Mecca? My other go-to’s are 2019 diaries or calendars, and I love supporting the work by local artists and brands, especially Jasmine Dowling and An Organised Life.
For gifts under $100, the possibilities seem endless. This year I’ve started to take more care of my body, and so vitamins and supplements seem like the perfect gift for that over-worked person in your life. As always, stunningly packaged beauty finds from Mecca are a must, and then there’s the Chanel hand cream for the girl who’s all about the classics.
For those closest to you, why not indulge them? From the latest in jewellery trends (how stunning are these Holly Ryan earrings?) to the everyday staples like this Comme Des Garcons wallet. You can also branch out into fashion, as you’ll have a better idea of sizing when it comes to your favourite people – and I just can’t go past this Aje bodysuit.
